Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of grace, that we may receive mercy and find grace to help in time of need. -Hebrews 4:16
“Whether you’re navigating personal struggles or marriage issues, Patrick’s compassionate, thoughtful approach is a true blessing. We highly recommend his services!”
What is Biblical Counseling?
At Grace to Help, we believe Jesus wants his people to have genuine freedom, peace, joy, and hope in their minds and hearts through the power of his Word and Spirit. Biblical counseling is not psychology or psychiatry. While those fields have their benefits, biblical counseling is about helping people see themselves and their lives in light of the truth of God’s word. A biblical counselor seeks to understand deeply with the help of the Holy Spirit and then gently and honestly shine the light of the Bible into a dark place where freedom, peace, joy, and hope have eluded us. Since we know it is the desire of Jesus to give those good gifts to us, then we can certainly approach his throne of grace together with confidence!
